MY CUMULATIVE CAST LIST

Katharine/Kaff/Fucky

Kaff has been my friend since freshman year when we both played basketball. She had the best jump shot of anyone on the team. I was tall. We both contributed in our own unique ways. My earliest memory of Kaff is when we would take our practice jersies and pull out the backs like capes and play "Batman and Robin." Immaturity soothes the tortured soul; this Kaff has taught me.

Kaff has the ability to remember the name of almost any celebrity on the planet. This comes from having a sharp mind and working at Tower for one [miserable] year.

Katharine is one of those people I'm convinced is truly brilliant, but wasn't told that enough in her childhood. I try to make up for that by reminding her of her potential as often as possible.

Dan Funk/Emperor Devestation

I also met Dan my freshman year. He sat behind me in Mrs. Kayler's Geometry class. I'm pretty sure we annoyed the hell out of eachother.

Cut to the summer after senior year. Dan was on the Europe trip. It was then that I realized I had missed out on such a cool guy in high school entirely because of bad freshman year impressions. This guy was HILARIOUS. Dan is one of the few people I know that allows himself to be unapologetically silly.

It's because of Dan that I introduce the face game and the sound game into normal conversation. Unfortunately, after playing these games with Dan, there is no substitute.

Dan is also the prime supervillain of the world. His name is Emperor Devestation, and his evil cohort is Madame Monstrosity. Their powers are miniscule compared to those of Senorita Sincerity's, and her trusty sidekick, Toodles. Good will overcome, but don't tell Dan that.

Shelby Brimhall

If Heather and I share a brain, Shelby and I share a soul. Dramatic, I know, but that's us. Dramatic.

Shelby and I both love the theater. With a love of theater comes a love of theatrics. And believe me-- our friendship has definitely not displayed a shortage of theatrics.

Shelby, just like me, is not the High School type. Her personality is far better suited to the college lifestyle. In those four years, we both struggled with conflict, in ourselves and with eachother. Somehow though, when I reflect on high school and I think of Shelby, the conflict is not what comes immediately to mind. We fought a lot, but I still think of her as one of my closest friends.

I introduced her to Disneyland. She introduced me to Seussical (therefore opening my mind to listening to musicals that I hadn't seen before-- and loving them). And together, we discovered the true magic of karaoke and trampolines.

I'll be able to find a good picture for this one.

Andrew

Andrew rocks. We were in plays together when he still went to North Canyon. Strangely enough, however, I think I’ve learned more about him since he graduated.

He’s still the only person I’ve pulled an all-nighter talking to on the phone.

I talk about him a lot in my diary mostly because of his diary.

If he weren’t such an unrelenting sports nut, he’d probably be the perfect man.

***

Erin

Erin played on Premier with me for 4 years. Premier bit the dust about 3 months ago. Technically, I haven’t hung out with Erin since. I did baby-sit her dogs, though.

She’s going to play softball on the Olympic team someday.

She also has a diary.

I don’t think there is anyone in the world that I am funnier around than Erin.

***

Katie

Katie graduated the same year as Andrew. She was my best senior friend when I was a sophomore. She has a GORGEOUS voice. Not just trained and amazing, but genuinely SOOTHING.

One time when she was driving me off campus to get Burger King, I got so sick I threw up. It’s amazing how random memories are often sick memories.

***

Heather

Heather has been my best friend since Freshman year. We have a similar sense of humor, sometimes randomly so—when we were kids, we both though the production company “Dic” was dirty.

Even when I’m tired and sick of the world, I can turn to Heather. Even when I’m tired and sick of Heather, I still turn to Heather. If there’s anything to verify our friendship, it’s the fact that I could NEVER stop being friends with her.

***

Zac, my brother.

Because I figured it might be good to start with family and hey, I had a goofy picture on hand too. Check it out:

Yeah, he's picking his nose with his tongue. Heh.

Zac is two years older than me, although I could easily be convinced that my parents lied and we are actually twins. He’s leaving for Pepperdine later this month, which is in Malibu. He acts, sings, plays basketball, weighs less than any 18-year-old boy in the world, walks on water and enjoys pizza. If Britney Spears is reading this I’m sure he’d appreciate it if I hooked you two up. Just a thought. He also reads my diary. Which makes him better than 99% of the internet community out there.

Caroline and Monica, Tempe Buds.

I met these two cool cats four years ago when the three of us were in a production of “Snoopy!” at Childsplay. Although I was in a separate cast, I still managed to like both of them better than anyone in my cast.

And even today our relationship is very sentimental. Especially our ability to make each other’s day brighter simply by saying “wah” in a high pitched voice or even doing an impression of an embarrassed retard (which Caroline is depicting above, on the right).

Both of them make me wish I lived in Tempe.

And both of them make me think I need to get voice lessons.

I designed this myself. Booyah.
